- The St. Elias has been hiking, backpacking, and living outside for more than 10 years. For 2024, it's being evolved to provide even more comfort, traction, and support. At its core, the St. Elias was inspired by its predecessor Vasque boots that came before it while embodying modern technologies to ensure your outdoor experience is the escape you need. The St. Elias is equipped with Vibram Megagrip compound within a Vasque-exclusive multi-directional + lug system that ensures optimal grip and traction. The dual-density midsole encompasses an EVA support rim with a dual-durometer EVA energy return compound that provides both stability and support where you need it.
- UPPER: 1.8-2mm waterproof full-grain or nubuck leather.
- INSOLE: 20% bio content polyurethane footbed.
- 33% bio-based collar and tongue foams.
- 60% recycled content toe box + heel counter.
- 80% recycled content laces.
- MIDSOLE: dual density high energy return EVA midsole + 20% sugarcane, 20% recycled content insole board,15% glass fiber nylon shank.
