TheFila Axilus 3carries on what we liked from the second generation with support, stability, speedy-feel, and improves upon underfoot cushioning and durability. The fit has been updated with this third generation, creating a more snug and glove-like feel on top of your feet. The upper of these shoes is well protected in the drag zones, an abrasion guard above the toes and medial side of the forefoot, while underneath that structure there is a soft mesh liner and a padded mesh tongue. The midsole has been thickened for a smoother ride underfoot, and the TPU Shank ensures that you will have stability when changing directions. The Fila signature Ever-Grind rubber compound supplies a high level of durability, has been beefed-up in the high wear zones, and for this update is formed into a multi-directional tread pattern, creating optimal balance between grip and sliding capabilities.
